عَٰلَمِين

Appears 73 times in the Quran. (Root: علم)
  1. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

  2. O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and that I made you excel the nations.

  3. O children of Israel, call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and that I made you excel the nations.

  4. When his Lord said to him, Be a Muslim, he said: I submit myself to the Lord of the worlds.

  5. So they put them to flight by Allah's permission. And Dawood slew Jalut, and Allah gave him kingdom and wisdom, and taught him of what He pleased. And were it not for Allah's repelling some men with others, the earth would certainly be in a state of disorder; but Allah is Gracious to the creatures.

  6. Surely Allah chose Adam and Nuh and the descendants of Ibrahim and the descendants of Imran above the nations.

  7. And when the angels said: O Marium! surely Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of of the world.

  8. Most surely the first house appointed for men is the one at Bekka, blessed and a guidance for the nations.

  9. In it are clear signs, the standing place of Ibrahim, and whoever enters it shall be secure, and pilgrimage to the House is incumbent upon men for the sake of Allah, (upon) every one who is able to undertake the journey to it; and whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is Self-sufficient, above any need of the worlds.

  10. These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth, and Allah does not desire any injustice to the creatures.

  11. And when Musa said to his people: O my people! remember the favor of Allah upon you when He raised prophets among you and made you kings and gave you what He had not given to any other among the nations.

  12. If you will stretch forth your hand towards me to slay me, I am not one to stretch forth my hand towards you to slay you surely I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds:

  13. Allah said: Surely I will send it down to you, but whoever shall disbelieve afterwards from among you, surely I will chastise him with a chastisement with which I will not chastise, anyone among the nations.

  14. So the roots of the people who were unjust were cut off; and all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  15. Say: Shall we call on that besides Allah, which does not benefit us nor harm us, and shall we be returned back on our heels after Allah has guided us, like him whom the Shaitans have made to fall down perplexed in the earth? He has companions who call him to the right way, (saying): Come to us. Say: Surely the guidance of Allah, that is the (true) guidance, and we are commanded that we should submit to the Lord of the worlds.

  16. And Ismail and Al-Yasha and Yunus and Lut; and every one We made to excel (in) the worlds:

  17. These are they whom Allah guided, therefore follow their guidance. Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; it is nothing but a reminder to the nations.

  18. Say. Surely my prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my death are (all) for Allah, the Lord of the worlds;

  19. Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods of time, and He is firm in power; He throws the veil of night over the day, which it pursues incessantly; and (He created) the sun and the moon and the stars, made subservient by His command; surely His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  20. He said: O my people! there is no error in me, but I am an messenger from the Lord of the worlds.

  21. He said: O my people! there is no folly in me, but I am an messenger of the Lord of the worlds.

  22. And (We sent) Lut when he said to his people: What! do you commit an indecency which any one in the world has not done before you?

  23. And Musa said: O Firon! surely I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds:

  24. They said: We believe in the Lord of the worlds,

  25. He said: What! shall I seek for you a god other than Allah while He has made you excel (all) created things?

  26. Their cry in it shall be: Glory to Thee, O Allah! and their greeting in it shall be: Peace; and the last of their cry shall be: Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  27. And this Quran is not such as could be forged by those besides Allah, but it is a verification of that which is before it and a clear explanation of the book, there is no doubt in it, from the Lord of the worlds.

  28. And you do not ask them for a reward for this; it is nothing but a reminder for all mankind.

  29. They said: Have we not forbidden you from (other) people?

  30. And We delivered him as well as Lut (removing them) to the land which We had blessed for all people.

  31. And she who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her of Our inspiration and made her and her son a sign for the nations.

  32. And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds.

  33. Blessed is He Who sent down the Furqan upon His servant that he may be a warner to the nations;

  34. Then come to Firon and say: Surely we are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds:

  35. Firon said: And what is the Lord of the worlds?

  36. They said: We believe in the Lord of the worlds:

  37. Surely they are enemies to me, but not (so) the Lord of the worlds;

  38. When we made you equal to the Lord of the worlds;

  39. And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds:

  40. And I do not ask you any reward for it; surely my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds

  41. And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds:

  42. And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds;

  43. What! do you come to the males from among the creatures

  44. And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds;

  45. And most surely this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

  46. So when he came to it a voice was uttered saying: Blessed is Whoever is in the fire and whatever is about it; and glory be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds;

  47. It was said to her: Enter the palace; but when she saw it she deemed it to be a great expanse of water, and bared her legs. He said: Surely it is a palace made smooth with glass. She said: My Lord! surely I have been unjust to myself, and I submit with Sulaiman to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  48. And when he came to it, a voice was uttered from the right side of the valley in the blessed spot of the bush, saying: O Musa! surely I am Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  49. And whoever strives hard, he strives only for his own soul; most surely Allah is Self-sufficient, above (need of) the worlds.

  50. And among men is he who says: We believe in Allah; but when he is persecuted in (the way of) Allah he thinks the persecution of men to be as the chastisement of Allah; and if there come assistance from your Lord, they would most certainly say: Surely we were with you. What! is not Allah the best knower of what is in the breasts of mankind.

  51. So We delivered him and the inmates of the ark, and made it a sign to the nations.

  52. And (We sent) Lut when he said to his people: Most surely you are guilty of an indecency which none of the nations has ever done before you;

  53. The revelation of the Book, there is no doubt in it, is from the Lord of the worlds.

  54. Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations.

  55. What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds?

  56. And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  57. It is nothing but a reminder to the nations;

  58. And you shall see the angels going round about the throne glorifying the praise of their Lord; and judgment shall be given between them with justice, and it shall be said: All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  59. Allah is He Who made the earth a resting-place for you and the heaven a canopy, and He formed you, then made goodly your forms, and He provided you with goodly things; that is Allah, your Lord; blessed then is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  60. He is the Living, there is no god but He, therefore call on Him, being sincere to Him in obedience; (all) praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  61. Say: I am forbidden to serve those whom you call upon besides Allah when clear arguments have come to me from my Lord, and I am commanded that I should submit to the Lord of the worlds.

  62. Say: What! do you indeed disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two periods, and do you set up equals with Him? That is the Lord of the Worlds.

  63. And certainly We sent Musa with Our communications to Firon and his chiefs, so he said: Surely I am the messenger of the Lord of the worlds.

  64. And certainly We chose them, having knowledge, above the nations.

  65. And certainly We gave the Book and the wisdom and the prophecy to the children of Israel, and We gave them of the goodly things, and We made them excel the nations.

  66. Therefore to Allah is due (all) praise, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds.

  67. A revelation by the Lord of the worlds.

  68. Like the Shaitan when he says to man: Disbelieve, but when he disbelieves, he says: I am surely clear of you; surely I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

  69. And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. It is in fact a message to the world.

  70. It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

  71. It is naught but a reminder for the nations,

  72. And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds.

  73. The day on which men shall stand before the Lord of the worlds?
