تَذَكَّرُونَ

Appears 17 times in the Quran. (Root: ذكر)
  1. And do not approach the property of the orphan except in the best manner until he attains his maturity, and give full measure and weight with justice-- We do not impose on any soul a duty except to the extent of its ability; and when you speak, then be just though it be (against) a relative, and fulfill Allah's covenant; this He has enjoined you with that you may be mindful;

  2. Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow guardians besides Him, how little do you mind.

  3. And He it is Who sends forth the winds bearing good news before His mercy, until, when they bring up a laden cloud, We drive it to a dead land, then We send down water on it, then bring forth with it of fruits of all kinds; thus shall We bring forth the dead that you may be mindful.

  4. Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, and He is firm in power, regulating the affair, there is no intercessor except aher His permission; this is Allah, your Lord, therefore serve Him; will you not then mind?

  5. The likeness of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seeing and the hearing: are they equal in condition? Will you not then mind?

  6. And, O my people! who will help me against Allah if I drive them away? Will you not then mind?

  7. Is He then Who creates like him who does not create? Do you not then mind?

  8. Surely Allah enjoins the doing of justice and the doing of good (to others) and the giving to the kindred, and He forbids indecency and evil and rebellion; He admonishes you that you may be mindful.

  9. They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind?

  10. (This is) a chapter which We have revealed and made obligatory and in which We have revealed clear communications that you may be mindful.

  11. O you who believe! Do not enter houses other than your own houses until you have asked permission and saluted their inmates; this is better for you, that you may be mindful.

  12. Or, Who answers the distressed one when he calls upon Him and removes the evil, and He will make you successors in the earth. Is there a god with Allah? Little is it that you mind!

  13. Will you not then mind?

  14. Have you then considered him who takes his low desire for his god, and Allah has made him err having knowledge and has set a seal upon his ear and his heart and put a covering upon his eye. Who can then guide him after Allah? Will you not then be mindful?

  15. And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful.

  16. And certainly you know the first growth, why do you not then mind?

  17. Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind.
