سِخْرِيّ

Appears 2 times in the Quran. (Root: سخر)

23:110 فَٱتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتَّىٰٓ أَنسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِى وَكُنتُم مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ

But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them.
38:63 أَتَّخَذْنَٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ

Was it that we (only) took them in scorn, or have our eyes (now) turned aside from them?
