يَسْتَطِيعُونَ

Appears 15 times in the Quran. (Root: طوع)
  1. (Alms are) for the poor who are confined in the way of Allah-- they cannot go about in the land; the ignorant man thinks them to be rich on account of (their) abstaining (from begging); you can recognise them by their mark; they do not beg from men importunately; and whatever good thing you spend, surely Allah knows it.

  2. Except the weak from among the men and the children who have not in their power the means nor can they find a way (to escape);

  3. And they have no power to give them help, nor can they help themselves.

  4. And those whom you call upon besides Him are not able to help you, nor can they help themselves.

  5. These shall not escape in the earth, nor shall they have any guardians besides Allah; the punishment shall be doubled for them, they could not bear to hear and they did not see.

  11. See what likenesses do they apply to you, so they have gone astray, therefore they shall not be able to find a way.

  12. And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it).

  13. So they shall not be able to make a bequest, nor shall they return to their families.

  14. (But) they shall not be able to assist them, and they shall be a host brought up before them.

  15. On the day when there shall be a severe affliction, and they shall be called upon to make obeisance, but they shall not be able,
