تُرْحَمُونَ

Appears 8 times in the Quran. (Root: رحم)
  1. And obey Allah and the Messenger, that you may be shown mercy.

  2. And this is a Book We have revealed, blessed; therefore follow it and guard (against evil) that mercy may be shown to you.

  3. What! do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Lord through a man from among you, that he might warn you and that you might guard (against evil) and so that mercy may be shown to you?

  4. And when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and remain silent, that mercy may be shown to you.

  5. And keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and obey the Messenger, so that mercy may be shown to you.

  6. He said: O my people! why do you seek to hasten on the evil before the good? Why do you not ask forgiveness of Allah so that you may be dealt with mercifully?

  7. And when it is said to them: Guard against what is before you and what is behind you, that mercy may be had on you.

  8. The believers are but brethren, therefore make peace between your brethren and be careful of (your duty to) Allah that mercy may be had on you.
