يَكْفُرُوا۟

Appears 6 times in the Quran. (Root: كفر)
  1. Evil is that for which they have sold their souls-- that they should deny what Allah has revealed, out of envy that Allah should send down of His grace on whomsoever of His servants He pleases; so they have made themselves deserving of wrath upon wrath, and there is a disgraceful punishment for the unbelievers.

  2. Have you not seen those who assert that they believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed before you? They desire to summon one another to the judgment of the Shaitan, though they were commanded to deny him, and the Shaitan desires to lead them astray into a remote error.

  3. So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know

  4. But (now) when the truth has come to them from Us, they say: Why is he not given the like of what was given to Musa? What! did they not disbelieve in what Musa was given before? They say: Two magicians backing up each other; and they say: Surely we are unbelievers in all.

  5. Thus they become ungrateful for what We have given them, so that they may enjoy; but they shall soon know.

  6. So as to be ungrateful for what We have given them; but enjoy yourselves (for a while), for you shall soon come to know.
