مُّبِين

  1. O men! eat the lawful and good things out of what is in the earth, and do not follow the footsteps of the Shaitan; surely he is your open enemy.

  2. O you who believe! enter into submission one and all and do not follow the footsteps of Shaitan; surely he is your open enemy.

  3. Certainly Allah conferred a benefit upon the believers when He raised among them a Messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His communications and purifying them, and teaching them the Book and the wisdom, although before that they were surely in manifest error.

  4. And if you wish to have (one) wife in place of another and you have given one of them a heap of gold, then take not from it anything; would you take it by slandering (her) and (doing her) manifest wrong?

  5. See how they forge the lie against Allah, and this is sufficient as a manifest sin.

  6. You will find others who desire that they should be safe from you and secure from their own people; as often as they are sent back to the mischief they get thrown into it headlong; therefore if they do not withdraw from you, and (do not) offer you peace and restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them; and against these We have given you a clear authority.

  7. And when you journey in the earth, there is no blame on you if you shorten the prayer, if you fear that those who disbelieve will cause you distress, surely the unbelievers are your open enemy.

  8. And whoever commits a fault or a sin, then accuses of it one innocent, he indeed takes upon himself the burden of a calumny and a manifest sin.

  9. And most certainly I will lead them astray and excite in them vain desires, and bid them so that they shall slit the ears of the cattle, and most certainly I will bid them so that they shall alter Allah's creation; and whoever takes the Shaitan for a guardian rather than Allah he indeed shall suffer a manifest loss.

  10. O you who believe! do not take the unbelievers for friends rather than the believers; do you desire that you should give to Allah a manifest proof against yourselves?

  11. The followers of the Book ask you to bring down to them a book from heaven; so indeed they demanded of Musa a greater thing than that, for they said: Show us Allah manifestly; so the lightning overtook them on account of their injustice. Then they took the calf (for a god), after clear signs had come to them, but We pardoned this; and We gave to Musa clear authority.

  12. O people! surely there has come to you manifest proof from your Lord and We have sent to you clear light.

  13. O followers of the Book! indeed Our Messenger has come to you making clear to you much of what you concealed of the Book and passing over much; indeed, there has come to you light and a clear Book from Allah;

  14. And obey Allah and obey the messenger and be cautious; but if you turn back, then know that only a clear deliverance of the message is (incumbent) on Our messenger.

  15. When Allah will say: O Isa son of Marium! Remember My favor on you and on your mother, when I strengthened you I with the holy Spirit, you spoke to the people in the cradle and I when of old age, and when I taught you the Book and the wisdom and the Taurat and the Injeel; and when you determined out of clay a thing like the form of a bird by My permission, then you breathed into it and it became a bird by My permission, and you healed the blind and the leprous by My permission; and when you brought forth the dead by My permission; and when I withheld the children of Israel from you when you came to them with clear arguments, but those who disbelieved among them said: This is nothing but clear enchantment.

  16. And if We had sent to you a writing on a paper, then they had touched it with their hands, certainly those who disbelieve would have said: This is nothing but clear enchantment.

  17. He from whom it is averted on that day, Allah indeed has shown mercy to him; and this is a manifest achievement.

  18. And with Him are the keys of the unseen treasures-- none knows them but He; and He knows what is in the land and the sea, and there falls not a leaf but He knows it, nor a grain in the darkness of the earth, nor anything green nor dry but (it is all) in a clear book.

  19. And when Ibrahim said to his sire, Azar: Do you take idols for gods? Surely I see you and your people in manifest error.

  20. And of cattle (He created) beasts of burden and those which are fit for slaughter only; eat of what Allah has given you and do not follow the footsteps of the Shaitan; surely he is your open enemy.

  21. Then he caused them to fall by deceit; so when they tasted of the tree, their evil inclinations became manifest to them, and they both began to cover themselves with the leaves of the garden; and their Lord called out to them: Did I not forbid you both from that tree and say to you that the Shaitan is your open enemy?

  22. The chiefs of his people said: Most surely we see you in clear error.

  23. So he threw his rod, then lo! it was a clear serpent.

  24. Do they not reflect that their companion has not unsoundness in mind; he is only a plain warner.

  25. What! is it a wonder to the people that We revealed to a man from among themselves, saying: Warn the people and give good news to those who believe that theirs is a footing of firmness with their Lord. The unbelievers say: This is most surely a manifest enchanter.

  26. And you are not (engaged) in any affair, nor do you recite concerning it any portion of the Quran, nor do you do any work but We are witnesses over you when you enter into it, and there does not lie concealed from your Lord the weight of an atom in the earth or in the heaven, nor any thing less than that nor greater, but it is in a clear book.

  27. So when the truth came to them from Us they said: This is most surely clear enchantment!

  28. And there is no animal in the earth but on Allah is the sustenance of it, and He knows its resting place and its depository all (things) are in a manifest book.

  29. And He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods-- and His dominion (extends) on the water-- that He might manifest to you, which of you is best in action, and if you say, surely you shall be raised up after death, those who disbelieve would certainly say: This is nothing but clear magic.

  30. And certainly We sent Nuh to his people: Surely I am a plain warner for you:

  31. And certainly We sent Musa with Our communications and a clear authority,

  32. Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) manifest.

  33. He said: O my son! do not relate your vision to your brothers, lest they devise a plan against you; surely the Shaitan is an open enemy to man.

  34. When they said: Certainly Yusuf and his brother are dearer to our father than we, though we are a (stronger) company; most surely our father is in manifest error:

  35. And women in the city said: The chiefs wife seeks her slave to yield himself (to her), surely he has affected her deeply with (his) love; most surely we see her in manifest error.

  36. Their messengers said: Is there doubt about Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? He invites you to forgive you your faults and to respite you till an appointed term. They said: You are nothing but mortals like us; you wish to turn us away from what our fathers used to worship; bring us therefore some clear authority.

  37. Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book and (of) a Quran that makes (things) clear.

  38. But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame.

  39. So We inflicted retribution on them, and they are both, indeed, on an open road (still) pursued.

  40. And say: Surely I am the plain warner.

  41. He created man from a small seed and lo! he is an open contender.

  42. And they who give associates (to Allah) say: If Allah had pleased, we would not have served anything besides Allah, (neither) we nor our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything without (order from) Him. Thus did those before them; is then aught incumbent upon the messengers except a plain delivery (of the message)?

  43. But if they turn back, then on you devolves only the clear deliverance (of the message).

  44. And certainly We know that they say: Only a mortal teaches him. The tongue of him whom they reproach is barbarous, and this is clear Arabic tongue.

  45. And say to My servants (that) they speak that which is best; surely the Shaitan sows dissensions among them; surely the Shaitan is an open enemy to man.

  46. How clearly shall they hear and how clearly shall they see on the day when they come to Us; but the unjust this day are in manifest error.

  47. He said: Certainly you have been, (both) you and your fathers, in manifest error.

  48. And among men is he who serves Allah (standing) on the verge, so that if good befalls him he is satisfied therewith, but if a trial afflict him he turns back headlong; he loses this world as well as the hereafter; that is a manifest loss.

  49. Say: O people! I am only a plain warner to you.

  50. Then We sent Musa and his brother Haroun, with Our communications and a clear authority,

  51. Why did not the believing men and the believing women, when you heard it, think well of their own people, and say: This is an evident falsehood?

  52. On that day Allah will pay back to them in full their just reward, and they shall know that Allah is the evident Truth.

  53. Say: Obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn back, then on him rests that which is imposed on him and on you rests that which is imposed on you; and if you obey him, you are on the right way; and nothing rests on the Messenger but clear delivering (of the message).

  54. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.

  55. He said: What! even if I bring to you something manifest?

  56. So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent,

  57. By Allah! we were certainly in manifest error,

  58. I am naught but a plain warner.

  59. In plain Arabic language.

  60. Ta Sin! These are the verses of the Quran and the Book that makes (things) clear

  61. So when Our clear signs came to them, they said: This is clear enchantment.

  62. And Sulaiman was Dawood's heir, and he said: O men! we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given all things; most surely this is manifest grace.

  63. I will most certainly punish him with a severe punishment, or kill him, or he shall bring to me a clear plea.

  64. And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book.

  65. Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth.

  66. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.

  67. And he went into the city at a time of unvigilance on the part of its people, so he found therein two men fighting, one being of his party and the other of his foes, and he who was of his party cried out to him for help against him who was of his enemies, so Musa struck him with his fist and killed him. He said: This is on account of the Shaitan's doing; surely he is an enemy, openly leading astray.

  68. And he was in the city, fearing, awaiting, when lo! he who had asked his assistance the day before was crying out to him for aid. Musa said to him: You are most surely one erring manifestly.

  69. Most surely He Who has made the Quran binding on you will bring you back to the destination. Say: My Lord knows best him who has brought the guidance and him who is in manifest error.

  70. And if you reject (the truth), nations before you did indeed reject (the truth); and nothing is incumbent on the messenger but a plain delivering (of the message).

  71. And they say: Why are not signs sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner.

  72. This is Allah's creation, but show Me what those besides Him have created. Nay, the unjust are in manifest error

  73. And it behoves not a believing man and a believing woman that they should have any choice in their matter when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he surely strays off a manifest straying.

  74. And those who speak evil things of the believing men and the believing women without their having earned (it), they are guilty indeed of a false accusation and a manifest sin.

  75. And those who disbelieve say: The hour shall not come upon us. Say: Yea! by my Lord, the Knower of the unseen, it shall certainly come upon you; not the weight of an atom becomes absent from Him, in the heavens or in the earth, and neither less than that nor greater, but (all) is in a clear book

  76. Say: Who gives you the sustenance from the heavens and the earth? Say: Allah. And most surely we or you are on a right way or in manifest error

  77. And when Our clear communications are recited to them, they say: This is naught but a man who desires to turn you away from that which your fathers worshipped. And they say: This is naught but a lie that is forged. And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it comes to them: This is only clear enchantment.

  78. Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing.

  79. And nothing devolves on us but a clear deliverance (of the message).

  80. In that case I shall most surely be in clear error:

  81. And when it is said to them: Spend out of what Allah has given you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Shall we feed him whom, if Allah please, He could feed? You are in naught but clear error.

  82. Did I not charge you, O children of Adam ! that you should not serve the Shaitan? Surely he is your open enemy,

  83. And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a plain Quran,

  84. Does not man see that We have created him from the small seed? Then lo! he is an open disputant.

  85. And they say: This is nothing but clear magic:

  86. Most surely this is a manifest trial.

  87. And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls.

  88. Or have you a clear authority?

  89. Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner.

  90. Serve then what you like besides Him. Say: The losers surely are those who shall have lost themselves and their families on the day of resurrection; now surely that is the clear loss.

  91. What! is he whose heart Allah has opened for Islam so that he is in a light from his Lord (like the hard-hearted)? Nay, woe to those whose hearts are hard against the remembrance of Allah; those are in clear error.

  92. And certainly We sent Musa with Our communications and clear authority,

  93. I swear by the Book that makes things clear:

  94. And they assign to Him a part of His servants; man, to be sure, is clearly ungrateful.

  95. What! that which is made in ornaments and which in contention is unable to make plain speech!

  96. Nay! I gave them and their fathers to enjoy until there came to them the truth and a Messenger making manifest (the truth).

  97. What! can you then make the deaf to hear or guide the blind and him who is in clear error?

  98. And let not the Shaitan prevent you; surely he is your j open enemy.

  99. I swear by the Book that makes manifest (the truth).

  100. Therefore keep waiting for the day when the heaven shall bring an evident smoke,
