سَوْف

  1. And whoever does this aggressively and unjustly, We will soon cast him into fire; and this is easy to Allah.

  2. (As for) those who disbelieve in Our communications, We shall make them enter fire; so oft as their skins are thoroughly burned, We will change them for other skins, that they may taste the chastisement; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise.

  3. Therefore let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell this world's life for the hereafter; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, then be he slain or be he victorious, We shall grant him a mighty reward.

  4. There is no good in most of their secret counsels except (in his) who enjoins charity or goodness or reconciliation between people; and whoever does this seeking Allah's pleasure, We will give him a mighty reward.

  5. Except those who repent and amend and hold fast to Allah and are sincere in their religion to Allah, these are with the believers, and Allah will grant the believers a mighty reward.

  6. And those who believe in Allah and His messengers and do not make a distinction between any of them-- Allah will grant them their rewards; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

  7. And with those who say, We are Christians, We made a covenant, but they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of, therefore We excited among them enmity and hatred to the day of resurrection; and Allah will inform them of what they did.

  8. O you who believe! whoever from among you turns back from his religion, then Allah will bring a people, He shall love them and they shall love Him, lowly before the believers, mighty against the unbelievers, they shall strive hard in Allah's way and shall not fear the censure of any censurer; this is Allah's Face, He gives it to whom He pleases, and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing.

  9. So they have indeed rejected the truth when it came to them; therefore the truth of what they mocked at will shine upon them.

  10. For every prophecy is a term, and you will come to know (it).

  11. Say: O my people! act according to your ability; I too am acting; so you will soon come to know, for whom (of us) will be the (good) end of the abode; surely the unjust shall not be successful.

  12. Firon said: Do you believe in Him before I have given you permission? Surely this is a plot which you have secretly devised in this city, that you may turn out of it its people, but you shall know:

  13. And when Musa came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said: My Lord! show me (Thyself), so that I may look upon Thee. He said: You cannot (bear to) see Me but look at the mountain, if it remains firm in its place, then will you see Me; but when his Lord manifested His glory to the mountain He made it crumble and Musa fell down in a swoon; then when he recovered, he said: Glory be to Thee, I turn to Thee, and I am the first of the believers.

  14. O you who believe! the idolaters are nothing but unclean, so they shall not approach the Sacred Mosque after this year; and if you fear poverty then Allah will enrich you out of His grace if He please; surely Allah is Knowing Wise.

  15. So shall you know who it is on whom will come a chastisement which will disgrace him, and on whom will lasting chastisement come down.

  16. And, O my people! act according to your ability, I too am acting; you will come to know soon who it is on whom will light the punishment that will disgrace him and who it is that is a liar, and watch, surely I too am watching with you.

  17. He said: I will ask for you forgiveness from my Lord; surely He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

  18. Leave them that they may eat and enjoy themselves and (that) hope may beguile them, for they will soon know.

  19. Those who set up another god with Allah; so they shall soon know.

  20. So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know

  21. He said: As to him who is injust, we will chastise him, then shall he be returned to his Lord, and He will chastise him with an exemplary chastisement:

  22. But there came after them an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires, so they win meet perdition,

  23. And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive?

  24. He had well-nigh led us astray from our gods had we not adhered to them patiently! And they will know, when they see the punishment, who is straying farther off from the path.

  25. Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come.

  26. Said he: You believe in him before I give you permission; most surely he is the chief of you who taught you the magic, so you shall know: certainly I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and certainly I will crucify you all.

  27. Thus they become ungrateful for what We have given them, so that they may enjoy; but they shall soon know.

  28. So as to be ungrateful for what We have given them; but enjoy yourselves (for a while), for you shall soon come to know.

  29. But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know.

  30. And (then) see them, so they too shall see.

  31. And (then) see, for they too shall see.

  32. Say: O my people! work in your place, surely I am a worker, so you will come to know.

  33. Those who reject the Book and that with which We have sent Our Messenger; but they shall soon come to know,

  34. And most surely it is a reminder for you and your people, and you shall soon be questioned.

  35. So turn away from them and say, Peace, for they shall soon come to know.

  36. And that his striving shall soon be seen-

  37. He shall be reckoned with by an easy reckoning,

  38. He shall call for perdition,

  39. And he shall soon be well-pleased.

  40. And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased.

  41. Nay! you shall soon know,

  42. Nay! Nay! you shall soon know.
